The longest beard ever measured belonged to Hans Langseth of Norway; When he died in 1927, the beard of Hans Langseth of Norway, was measured at 17 1/2 feet. Hans Langseth's beard can now be seen at the Smithsonian Institution. Vivian Wheeler of Illinois is blessed with having the longest beard for a female. With the longest hair in her beard measuring 11 inches.
