Wacky But True: 
Surveillance video shows a cane-wielding grandmother witness an armed robbery in Michigan and then tackle the suspect as he tried to make a run for it with the money.
It's a story that had people talking when it happened in November 2009.

The video was only made public recently.
The video starts with the typical ins and outs at the Walgreens store in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but it takes a surprising turn with the presence of two people: A guy who enters to rob the place and unsuspecting grandmother Sarah Smith, who uses a cane and is a regular at the store.

The Samaritan Shelter: We had special guests on this morning from the Samaritan Shelter in Pocomoke to talk about their upcoming fundraiser. It's a great night of Christian music called Be The Samaritan 2013. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door and at Taylor Bank in Pocomoke, First Shore Federal Bank in Pocomoke and T's Corner in Oak Hall, Virginia.

Wacky But True
Viewed around the globe, a girl is now known as the one who burned her hair off, after posting her curling iron mishap on YouTube.
Tori Locklear was trying to demonstrate how well the Wand curling iron works in her demonstration video.
But, the demo didn't quite go as Locklear had planned.
Around the 1:05 mark is where it all begins. Locklear says to hold the iron on your hair for 20 seconds or more.
And then, off with her hair.
The next 40 seconds that follow needs no explanation.
The YouTube video of the October 2012 incident has gone viral, being viewed by more than 2 million people.





Some parents love to get their kids started in sports early, but an Oregon family is taking it to the extreme.
Eden Grace is only 23 months old and she's already barreling down the bunny slope on a snowboard.
She's been doing runs with her folks since she was just 6 weeks old.
Her mom says Eden loves it.
"We wake up at 5:30 and get her out of bed and as soon as we mention snow she's all excited and knows we're going to the mountains," her mom said.
Eden's got her own gear and loves to wear it around the house.

For a dozen of Tampa Bay's sickest kids something super was about to swoop in.
Eight stories up Thursday, kids from St. Joseph's Children's Hospital got to marvel at their friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
In his red-and-blue suit, the superhero rappelled down from the hospital's roof to a ledge right outside a big playroom window.
One kid grabbed a marker and made a sign saying "GO SPIDERMAN!"
One of the hospital workers arranged to have a man with a window washing business show off his secret super power -- the power to help these kids smile.
Spider-Man wouldn't
reveal his true identity to us.

Amazing Fact
It’s patent #771,247.....James Bennett back in 1904 got a patent for his bizarre new catching apparatus.
It was basically a wire cage around the catchers face and chest with mattress padding on the chest. The ball was supposed to hit the padding, then drop through an opening in the bottom of the catchers cage.....the catcher would grab it and throw it back to the pitcher.

A French rally car driver performed a spectacular 75-foot backflip in a mini cooper in France, after planning the stunt for an astounding four years.
