She's even sharing the recipe:

1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp.salt
6-7 c. sliced pared apples
Pastry for 2 crust 9-inch pie
2 Tblsp. butter
Combine sugar, flour cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in bowl. Add apples, mix lightly. Put in pie shell. Dot with butter. Adjust top crust and flute edges; cut vents. Bake at 425 for 50-60 minutes or until crust is browned and and tender.
FROSTING:
1/2 c powdered sugar

Mix in small bowl. After you take the pie out of the oven, put frosting on top while still warm. Cool on rack.
Apple pie looks yummy.
ReplyDeleteJoelle is a great baker. Maybe she could share more recipes (oatmeal camelitas, chocolate (Zucchini) cupcakes with mocha icing......
Enjoy her addition to the show. Kids love personally knowing someone on air.
