Verse of the Day: Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. ~Mark 16:16
Amazing Fact: In the days of Edward I, who ruled England in the thirteenth century, the price of a fairly well written Bible was 37 pounds, or approximately $184. The hire of a laborer was a penny and a half a day. The purchase of a copy of the Bible would have taken such a person 4,800 days, or 13 years and 55 days of continuous labor. Excluding Sabbaths, something more than 15 years and 3 months of constant labor would have been required to save up enough to buy a Bible.
Scriptural Pursuit: Who, according to Peter on the day of Pentecost, will prophesy? Answer: sons and daughters
