Amazing Fact:
It’s patent #771,247.....James Bennett back in 1904 got a patent for his bizarre new catching apparatus.
It was basically a wire cage around the catchers face and chest with mattress padding on the chest. The ball was supposed to hit the padding, then drop through an opening in the bottom of the catchers cage.....the catcher would grab it and throw it back to the pitcher.

A French rally car driver performed a spectacular 75-foot backflip in a mini cooper in France, after planning the stunt for an astounding four years.
This marks the world's very first successful 360 degree jump in a car.
The stunt had been attempted before but no one else had managed to stick the landing.
