Wacky But True: A man who hopes to become the first to drive at 1,000 mph has inspected the track where the car will make the record attempts. The Bloodhound SuperSonic Car project is based in Bristol, England. The car will attempt to break the current land speed record of 763 mph some time in 2014. Currently engineers are testing the car and its three engines.
