Verse of the Day: We know what real love is because Christ gave up His life for us. And so we also ought to give up our lives for our Christian brothers and sisters. (I John 3: 16)

Amazing Fact: Sweethearts candies are made from late February through to January of the following year, making about 100,000 pounds per day. It's estimated that it equals about 8 billion candies a year that are all sold around Valentine's Day, and usually sell out within 6 weeks!

Scriptural Pursuit: What troubled King Nebuchadnezzar?
Answer: Dreams (Daniel 1: 2)

The Dream Conference: Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Salisbury will be hosting their second Dream Conference coming up on March 1st. It's a conference designed for leaders of churches to develop the dreams they have for their churches to see them grow. We had two guests from the church on the show this morning to discuss the conference. For more information check out their link: http://www.orbc.net/dream

Wacky But True:
There’s a teacher in Indianapolis who writes a birthday letter to each and every student he’s ever had. What’s even more amazing is that he keeps up with his writing after they’ve graduated from high school. He’s had more than 2,500 students. He says he never knows when God will use his letters to send encouragement and so that’s what keeps him going. It’s really such a heart warming story and we have the full story on our web site....it’s really a story about sending love out in the world and very fitting on this Valentine’s Day.
