Welcome to a Terrific Tuesday!

Today's Verse From God's Word:

"But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of righteous things we have done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit" (Titus 3:4-5 NIV).

Today's Smile:

Today's Wacky But True:

Mary Hannaby found this 500 year-old solid gold pendant with her metal detector last week. The pendant features the holy trinity and experts estimate that it is from the 15th Century. They have estimated its worth at $412,000! Under the law, museums have the first opportunity to purchase any artifact over 300 years old. Since many museums are struggling to survive financially, Mary has the opportunity to sell it at an auction house for even more. Get out the metal detector ... like Mary, you too may be surprised to find something of great value!

On-Line Trivia Question:

In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul quoted one of the Ten Commandments, saying, "it was the first one that ends with a promise." What commandment did he quote, and what is the promise? Answer ... "Honor your father and mother - that your days may be long upon the Earth."

Congratulations to Doug Mellington of Atlantic, Virginia! Doug answered the question correctly and was the first to e-mail his answer. Doug receives a free Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich courtesy of Chick-fil-A. Way to go, Doug!!
