Welcome to a wonderful Wednesday!

Highlight In History: On this date in 1741, colonial Congregational minister, Jonathan Edwards preached his classic sermon "Sinners In The Hands Of An Angry God." Edwards declared, "Tis nothing but His mere pleasure that keeps us from being this moment swallowed up in everlasting destruction!"

Amazing Fact: 25% of all the bones in the human body can be found in the feet!

Scriptural Pursuit Question:
"Who lived to be 969 years old?" Answer: Methuselah

Congratulations to Elaine Hill of Delmar! Elaine was the 7th caller and won a CD from Francesca Battistelli entitled "My Paper Heart." Jennifer Burke will provide another opportunity to win a great prize when Scriptural Pursuit comes your way again at 5:15 p.m. today.

Wacky But True:

This dress by British fashion student, Georgie Davis, is designed to light-up when the wearer's mobile telephone rings. She designed the knee-length, sleeveless white dress as part of a school project with mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson to better incorporate technology into fashion. As if we are looking for more ways to make cell phones more irritating, right?

Here they are again ...

Several listeners (fellow cat enthusiasts, like me - Howard) have requested more of my "adorable cat pictures." More are forthcoming (I promise). Here are my delightful "rug rats" (Maxwell Monroe & Jasmine Joelle) in their bed after a long day of hard work & play! These white Persian "fur balls" are both (11) years of age - twins - born on Valentine's Day. My wife, Dana, and I acquired them (5) years ago from a Christian couple who moved to China to be missionaries. Maxwell is the more vocal of the (2) and enjoys being in charge of the staff (that would be my wife and me). Jasmine is timid (the runt of the litter) and is much more cautious.
